Thanks for your candor. I agree. It is easier allow distractions to overshadow the reason people go online in the first place. Great video. As Zig Ziglar once said another way:
“The difference between a wandering generality and a meaningful specific”

Hey Jenn,

Great video! I think that quite a lot of people looking to start out online can get overwhelmed by the technical stuff. This is probably because the majority of marketing courses are aimed at the more seasoned or technical marketer. Words like affiliate and niche can totally go over a beginners head. I’m a bit opposite to that and it’s probably a bit of an Achilles heel of mine, because I do tend to spend more time on the physical aspect of something. However what I think is most important about working online is clarity of mind / goal and dedication. Yes, thank you for another awesome video!

Kind regards,

Claire :)

Amen! No doubt. I 110% agree.

This is EXACTLY what held me back. It’s only been in the last -literally- few months that I’ve begun to find my voice, the one I know that I want to project into the world.

Well said, and well done Jenn.

Hi Jenn,

I’m very glad to see you back in your new studio! It’s very professional and fancy! You’re right. I’ve stopped buying courses. I’ve realized that most of the time, I don’t even have the time to use them. It’s a belief I had built that I needed to have cutting edge information to have more success online. I realize that consistency is a big deal. Now, I’m getting the best ride of my life in network marketing and I’m having more fun than ever meeting and hanging out with people. That’s truely what makes me happy and my business grows even more that way.

Thank you for all your good work,
Millie

Right on Millie! I’ve been in the same place—thinking I need all the cutting edge information and then not having the time to even go through the products. Jenn

Great video Jenn. I always enjoy your messages. This one hit particularly close to home. I have been struggling for some time. I have been trying Facebook ads, with no results. I always feel like there is something missing that I am not getting. I am very clear on why I am online, I just feel I don’t have enough clout to be taken seriously. For now I am promoting other people’s products always with the same goal in mind. I know I have to keep trying and I will have the success I know is there.
Thank you for the video.

I keep plugging away at my marketing, I have a focus, mission and product, but am still struggling. So I cannot agree with you on this. I certainly believe in focusing and having a purpose or mission, along with putting a lot of work and effort. However I do not understand how having a goal or mission will substitute for the right tools and actions.

Hey Joe,

I appreciate where you’re coming from. My questions for you would be: (1) how long have you been “plugging away at your marketing”? (2) do you communicate with your target audience/refine your marketing based on a thorough understanding of where your target market is at? and (3) are you looking at your marketing metrics and testing/refining from there?

I’m not saying that a mission will substitute for the right tools and actions, just that a strong conviction in your purpose will keep you going, focused long enough that you will do what it takes to create success.. or decide the effort is not profitable.

If you want specific assistance, feel free to ask questions over on the TMA Facebook page: http://Facebook.com/themarketersapprentice

Best,
Jenn

Very well said Jenn, and I agree with you probably 95%. For “some”, they have the conviction, but not the skills. For me, I agree with you completely, as I have been in a holding pattern while looking for the right product, company, people, timing, etc…. But YES, once you start, without full conviction, it just doesn’t work. People can read our vibrations, and we need conviction. The tools can all be learned, at least as much as needed, AFTER we get that belief.
